Connection: Verb (plain form) / い-Adj / な-Adj (な) / Noun + (な)だけのことはある

Usage: Expresses that something truly lives up to its reputation or that an effort/investment was worthwhile. Used to evaluate positively that the result matches or exceeds what the background would suggest.

Difference from だけあって:

• だけあって = focuses on the reason/background (as expected of ~)
• だけのことはある = focuses on the evaluation/result (it was worth it / lives up to it)

Examples:

高いだけのことはある。この品質なら納得だ。(It's worth the high price. This quality is convincing.)

毎日練習しただけのことはあって、見事に合格した。(As one would expect from practicing every day, they passed brilliantly.)

わざわざ来ただけのことはあった。素晴らしい景色だった。(It was worth coming all the way here. The scenery was wonderful.)
