[After doing ~]
Connection: Verb て-form + から
Indicates that one action is completed before the next begins. Emphasizes the sequence: "first do A, then do B".
How to form:
- Group 1: 帰る → 帰ってから (after returning); 飲む → 飲んでから (after drinking)
- Irregular: する → してから (after doing); くる → きてから (after coming)
- てから emphasizes doing A FIRST, then B (tighter sequence)
- あとで is more general "after A" (can be a loose timeframe)
(I'll go out right after eating — tight sequence)
(I'll go out after eating — more relaxed)
Examples:
(I sleep after taking a shower)
(After coming to Japan, I started studying Japanese)
