Usage: Indicates doing something without limit or restraint. Can be used in two ways:

Usage 1 — Commercial/Positive: Offering unlimited access, commonly seen in services.

• 食べ放題 (all-you-can-eat), 飲み放題 (all-you-can-drink)

Usage 2 — Negative/Criticism: Doing something without restraint in a way that is inappropriate or irresponsible.

• 言いたい放題 (saying whatever one pleases), やりたい放題 (doing whatever one wants)

Examples:

この店は2000円で食べ放題です。(This restaurant offers all-you-can-eat for 2000 yen.)

彼は人の気持ちを考えずに言いたい放題だ。(He says whatever he wants without considering others' feelings.)

子供たちがやりたい放題で、部屋がめちゃくちゃだ。(The children did whatever they pleased and the room is a mess.)
