Verb (ない-stem) + ないでもない

[It's not that... not / Not entirely without]

Connection: Verb (ない-stem) + ないでもない

Usage: Very similar to なくもない. A hedging expression using double negation, meaning "it's not entirely untrue" or "there is some degree of X." Slightly softer and more conversational than なくもない.

Examples:

不安がないでもない。(It's not that I have no anxiety. / I do have some anxiety.)

その気持ちはわからないでもない。(It's not that I can't understand that feeling.)

転職を考えないでもないが、今は動けない。(It's not that I haven't considered changing jobs, but I can't move right now.)
