Usage: Expresses that if a certain (undesirable) situation continues, a negative consequence will follow. Used to give warnings or express disapproval.

Examples:
こんなに遅刻が多いようでは、信頼を失うだろう。(If you keep being late this much, you'll lose people's trust.)
毎日遊んでばかりいるようでは、試験に受からないよ。(If you keep just playing around every day, you won't pass the exam.)
