Connection: Noun (person) + のことだから
Usage: Used to make a prediction or judgment based on well-known characteristics of a person. "Because it's him/her (and we know what they're like), they will surely..." Always refers to a specific person whose traits are understood by both speaker and listener.
Examples:
彼のことだから、きっと時間通りに来るだろう。(Knowing him, he'll surely come on time.)
