Usage 1 — Judging from: Based on one aspect, you can draw a conclusion about the whole.

• 名前からして日本人だ。(Judging from the name, they're Japanese.)

Usage 2 — Even ~: Emphasizes that even the most basic/first example already shows the pattern.

• 社長からして遅刻するのだから、社員が遅刻するのは当然だ。(Even the president is late, so of course the employees are late too.)

Examples:

この店は外観からしておしゃれだ。(This shop looks stylish even from its exterior.)
